Butte Police Arrest Three for Soliciting Sales without a License
Three non-residents have been arrested for selling magazines in Butte, Montana without carrying a local business license. A day after being warned by the police of the requirement to obtain a business license in order to sell magazines door-to-door, the three were at it again knocking at people’s doors, trying to solicit sales.
KBZK reports that Police Captain George Skuletich said he had received several reports from residents about the three and he arrested them according to local policy.
Izejaah Palmer, 21, of South Carolina, Sandra Silva, 22, of Texas and Hillary Johnson, 18, of Billings are currently in jail awaiting judgment.
