South Carolina Officials Arrest Resident for Operating a Business without a License

Roosevelt Scott of Hemingway, South Carolina was arrested last Thursday for operating a restaurant without having a proper license. Scott’s Retail License was revoked in July, 2010 and he continued conducting business without it.

According to Carolina Live, Scott was charged “with one count of operating without a retail license.”

If the court convicts him, Scott could face up to 30 days in prison and fines up to $200.00.
