A Richland County businessman was arrested Thursday on allegations that he operated a business without a valid retail license.
Osharmar Williams, 37, owner and operator of Cellular City in Irmo, is accused of continuing to run his business, after the S.C. Department of Revenue revoked his license for failing to pay more than $24,000 in business taxes, according to an agency news release.
As of Thursday afternoon, Williams was being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center without bond. If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $200 and-or up to 30 days in jail.
