Souderton Borough Proposes Increasing Business License Fees

March 7, 2012

Following the recommendations of borough code enforcement officer Carl Stuart, council members have decided to review the current charges for Souderton, PA business license fees at their council meeting.

While business license charges aren’t the only fees that may be increased, the proposal under discussion would grant the sharpest increase to business license fees,  raising them from $50 every three years to $75.

Montgomery Media reports that the reason for the increase is “In order to be more in line with costs for the work, in addition to pricing in neighboring municipalities.”

Business license changes occur in different localities each day. Large businesses can save the time and effort it would take to uncover changes in each branch location by outsourcing business license management to licensing experts.
