St. Louis: Convenience Store to Lose Business License

Local police want to revoke the St. Louis, MO business license from Kenney's Food Shop after discovering that the owner has been violating licensing regulations by selling drugs in his convenience store.

As KMOV reports, “On Thursday, French and city police asked the city to revoke the shop's business license after undercover officers reported completing drug buys inside.  According to records, police also pulled illegal guns from under the counter.”

Police began an investigation into the store, its sales and customers after a high school student was shot at in front of the shop.

The St. Louis licensing board is expected to review the police reports and decide whether or not to revoke Kenney’s business license.
