Unlicensed Business Owner Caught Selling Drugs

January 11, 2012

Police raided the home of 63 year old, Doll Armstrong, after being tipped off of illegal activity taking place in the home. Doll had been selling snacks and drinks out of a bedroom in her house on 329 Law Street without obtaining a Thomasville, GA business license.

In addition to the food being sold from her home, Doll had been selling prescription drugs, including Hydrocodone, Tramadol, and Soma pills, illegally. The scope of this illegal operation remains unknown as investigators continue to probe into the details surrounding the unlicensed business.

As part of the investigation, police officers seized the drugs, snacks and drinks as well as a cash register and over $5,000 in cash. Times Enterprises reports, “The items were seized as evidence in the absence of a license/permit to sell the merchandise.”

Doll remains in prison for the time being.
